The 5th Beijing University Student Optical Communication Product Competition was held at North China University of Technology
The 5th Beijing University Student Optical Communication Product Engineering Practice Competition was held from October 23rd to 29th, 2023 at the Huaguang Yuneng Industry University Research and Application Engineering Practice Base of North China University of Technology. Hundreds of outstanding students majoring in electronic information in Beijing universities participated in the training and competition in batches.
Hangalaxy arranges senior engineers from the company to go to Beijing according to previous practices, and provides targeted training on fiber optic technology practical skills to students from various universities in batches.
This year's Optical Communication Product Engineering Practice Competition continues the principle of focusing on practical operations from the previous four sessions. According to the standard of enterprise production line technology, starting from the process of production, practical training is conducted on the production process and operation process of fiber optic jumpers and components. Each student is allowed to independently complete the production process of fiber optic connector products from cable cutting, threading, gluing, baking, stamping, rough grinding, surface testing, damage testing, precision grinding, out testing, 3D testing and other processes. The students who have completed the training in batches will then participate in skill competitions in batches, and the top, second, third place, and outstanding players will be selected and rewarded.
The purpose of the Beijing University Student Optical Communication Product Engineering Practice Competition is to build an ecosystem of optical communication talents. Its purpose is to cooperate with the targeted training of practical talents in the field of optical communication in universities, enhance the professional literacy and practical skills of practitioners, and promote the sustainable development of the optical communication discipline and industry.
